Russian skier Sergei Shiryaev said he was displeased after doping officials in Olympic Vancouver woke up his teammates at six in the morning for blood tests.

Russian skier Sergei Shiryaev said he was displeased after doping officials in Olympic Vancouver woke up his teammates at six in the morning for blood tests.

"Today at six o'clock in the morning doping officials broke in and, I may say, did not let us sleep. They have taken [Alexander] Legkov, [Maxim] Vylegzhanin, [Pyotr] Sedov and Irina Khazova for blood tests," Shiryaev said.

Although Shiryaev was not called for the blood test, he said could not fall asleep again for an hour until his roommate Sedov returned.

"People simply come at six in the morning before the race, tell us to get up and go for a walk. I was not called, but have not slept for an hour until Petya Sedov returned. I told them they are not good people for waking us up at an unearthly hour," the Russian skier said.

Shiryaev finished in the 31st place on Monday in men's 15 km free style Cross Country.
