WASHINGTON, August 22 (RIA Novosti), Lyudmila Chernova - Twelve search groups with over 50 people are looking for Russian student Aleksandr Sagiev missing in the state of Wyoming since Monday, Russia’s Consul General Andrei Yushmanov told RIA Novosti Friday.

According to one of the clues, Sagiev went on a day trip to nearby Yellowstone National Park.

"We are working on the situation, the search continues. We are doing our best here in Seattle to the situation under control. The search involves local law enforcement agencies. There are 12 search teams, more than fifty people,” Yushmanov said.

The Consul General said that spells of bad weather in the area complicated the search-and-rescue operation.

Aleksandr Sagiev, a 23-year-old college student from Russia, was reported missing Monday when he failed to show up at his work place in the deli of the grocery store at Dornan's resort.

Searchers used dogs and boats along the Snake River but did not find any traces. The search area was expanded on Thursday.
