Russia's search engine Yandex has launched a special search for messages posted in the Twitter micro-blogging service from Tuesday, Yandex said.
A search on the web-pages twitter.yandex.ru or blogs.yandex.ru findsTwitter posts several minutes after their publication. Yandex will show the posts published in Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian and Kazakh languages and the messages of the most popular foreign bloggers, the company said in a statement.
Twitter is the world’s largest micro-blogging service, its audience comprises more than 400 million people, of whom about 2 million are Russian speakers.
