MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) - PanAmSat's (an American global satellite broadcasting company) Galaxy 14 satellite will be launched into space by a Russian Soyuz FG/Fregat upper-stage rocket, a Russian Federal Space Agency spokesman said.
Vyacheslav Davidenko, spokesman for the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), said Galaxy 14 is scheduled to lift-off from Russia's Baikonur Space Center (leased by Russia from Kazakhstan) on August 6 at 3:29 a.m. Moscow time (0:29 a.m. GMT).
Davidenko said technicians began Monday to assemble Galaxy 14 and the Fregat upper-stage rocket, which will be delivered to a launch facility for general assembly with the Soyuz FG rocket.
