ROSTOV-ON-DON (Sputnik) — The body of the 18th victim of the bus crash was found, a source in a local department of the Emergencies Ministry told Sputnik.
"The body of the last victim, who had previously been considered missing, was raised to the surface," the source said.
On Friday, the bus carrying workers involved in the construction of a pier for the Tamanneftegas energy company fell into the water in the Kuban region. According to emergency services, about 50 people were in the bus. Earlier it was reported about 17 victims and 33 rescued people, while one more person was said to be missing.
The Investigative Committee said it launched a criminal case into a suspected traffic violation that led to the deadly incident in the town of Volna on the coast of Kerch Strait.
