MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti) – Almost 400 tickets have been sold on the train Moscow-Chisinau, that crashed into a freight train in the Moscow region, press-service of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs told RIA Novosti.
“394 tickets have been sold for the train N341 that collided with a freight train in the Moscow Region. There were also attendants and technical personnel on board,” representative of press-service said.
It was earlier reported that up to 9 people died and 45 got injured in two passenger and freight trains collision.
The accident occurred at the railroad haul between Naro-Fominsk and Bekasovo, when a freight train got off the tracks and rode into a long-distance train going from Moscow to Chisinau.
Some 250 people and 35 machines, including aviation equipment, are working at the site of the accident.
