MEXICO CITY, September 21 (RIA Novosti) – The mayor of Mexico City has accepted an invitation from his Moscow counterpart Sergei Sobyanin to visit the Russian capital, Russia’s ambassador to Mexico told RIA Novosti.
During the visit, Miguel Ángel Mancera will attend the Open Innovations forum, and will deliver a report during the event, due on October 31 - November 2, Ambassador Eduard Malayan said Friday.
“Besides participation in the forum, Mancera also plans to discuss the possibility of signing an agreement on sister ties between Moscow and Mexico City,” Malayan said.
In addition, the two cities may sign a healthcare cooperation deal, he said.
