KIEV, August 28 (RIA Novosti) – Ukrainian border guards have detained three intoxicated Russians who crossed the state border illegally in a tractor, the country’s border service said Wednesday.
The men were stopped at night near a border village in eastern Ukraine’s Lugansk Region, the service said in a statement.
The tractor was driven by a 29-year-old resident of Russia’s Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine. He said he wanted to visit his relatives in Ukraine and took along two friends “just for company.”
The men were booked for illegal border crossing, the border service said.
