A political coalition launched by President Vladimir Putin a year ago may meet this month to discuss its future after months out of the public eye.
After December's parliamentary elections and the March presidential ballot, it was time to discuss the All-Russia People's Front's "prospects," group's leader Vyacheslav Lysakov told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.
"I hope we will soon meet and decide in which direction we will proceed," Lysakov said, adding, however, that there was "no rush" to register the group officially.
Putin said in early April he may head the group when it is made a public organization.
The coalition has been largely out of the news since before the disputed December 4 parliamentary election, won by the pro-Kremlin United Russia party, but staged a demonstration on the eve of Putin's May 7 presidential inauguration, to apparently counter an opposition rally in downtown Moscow on the same day.
