Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel began talks in Berlin on Friday.
Putin’s aide Yury Ushakov said the two leaders will discuss bilateral relations, economic and energy cooperation, as well as Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and missile defense.
The talks will be followed by a news conference.
