A Russian court sentenced a man to 19 years in jail over a market bombing in 2010 that killed 19 people.
Magomed Latyrov was part of an "armed gang" which helped organize the car bomb attack on a central market in the southern city of Vladikavkaz, the court ruled.
Several members of the group are still at large, police said.
President Dmitry Medvedev pledged to punish the "beasts" who carried out the bombing.
Vladikavkaz is the main city of the small republic of North Ossetia in the North Caucasus.
Although it has been the site of a number of attacks in recent years, North Ossetia has been spared the worst of the violence that has plagued neighboring Ingushetia and Chechnya.
