Four aircraft with rescuers and psychologists landed on Wednesday in the southern Siberian republic of Tuva, hit by a 6.5-magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, the Emergencies Ministry said.
No deaths, injuries or damage have been reported.
An Ilyushin Il-76 Candid airlifter from Moscow and three Antonov An-74 Coaler transport aircraft landed in Tuva’s capital Kyzyl.
Another Il-76 carrying rescuers and supplies is on its way.
