Police have defused three bombs after killing a militant in Russia's North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, a spokesman said on Thursday.
R. Aliyev was killed after police blocked a group of militants in a house in the Dagestani capital of Makhachkala earlier on Thursday, the spokesman said.
It is not clear how many militants were holed up in the house.
Police then defused three improvised explosive devices equivalent to 15 kilograms of TNT that they found in the house.
