A Moscow city court on Monday issued an arrest warrant for yet another suspect in the killing of a football fan.

A Moscow city court on Monday issued an arrest warrant for yet another suspect in the killing of a football fan.

Artur Arsibiyev, 20, a native of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus, was allegedly involved in a December 6 brawl in northern Moscow with football fans that left Spartak Moscow supporter Yegor Sviridov, 28, dead.

Arsibiyev is the fourth suspect to be taken into custody on assault and battery charges, facing possible murder charges.

Over 5,000 young people, mainly football fans and members of nationalist groups gathered Saturday on Manezh Square next to the Kremlin wall to remember Sviridov.

The protesters ignored the order to disperse and clashed with riot police with 29 people injured as a result, including at least eight officers.

Some 80 people were detained in downtown St. Petersburg over the weekend as they attempted to block a road in protest against the killing.

About 1,000 protesters marched down the sidewalk, shouting slogans and setting off flares, and then attempted to block a road. Of those detained, 20 were released with a warning while the remaining 60 were charged with administrative offenses.
