MOSCOW, July 7 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's president will put forward Russia's views on the North Korean nuclear dispute, Mideast conflicts, and the economic crisis at the G8 summit later this week, his aide said on Tuesday.

The leaders of the Group of Eight rich nations will meet in Italy on July 8-10. The agenda will include post-election unrest in Iran, climate change, and measures to tackle the global financial crisis.

"On the political agenda, the president will talk above all about North Korea and the Middle East, and will be involved in other discussions as well," Arkady Dvorkovich said.

Medvedev will travel to L'Aquila, the site of recent earthquakes, on Wednesday. U.S. President Barack Obama will also be traveling from Russia, following his two-day visit.

Iran was one of issues discussed during Obama's meetings with Russia's leaders, at which the sides sought a common position on Iran's controversial nuclear program.

Moscow has consistently opposed to a tougher line on the Islamic Republic, and Medvedev was the first leader to meet with President Ahmadinejad following the violent crackdown on post-election opposition protests last month.

Dvorkovich said that the second day of the G8 summit would focus on plans for a new international financial system.

He said that the third day of talks, set to focus on food security, Medvedev would share the conclusions he made during his first official visit to Africa late last month, when he toured Egypt, Nigeria, Angola and Namibia.

Five emerging economies - Brazil, China, India, Mexico, South Africa - and special invitee Egypt, will join the summit on the second day. Several African nations will attend the summit on its third day.

The host country's premier, Silvio Berlusconi, has moved the summit from Sardinia to quake-hit L'Aquila to support reconstruction efforts in the region.

Dvorkovich also said Medvedev would hold one-on-one meetings with the prime ministers of Italy, Britain, Japan and Spain, the Chinese leader, and the presidents of Algeria and South Korea on the sidelines of the summit.
