MOSCOW, November 29 (RIA Novosti) - Moscow police closed down two brothels on Thursday, a police source said.
Police arrested two Nigerian men in southwest Moscow and a second-year female student on suspicion of running brothels.
"The suspects had held a Nigerian woman captive in a rented apartment since July 29 forcing her to work as a prostitute," the source said, adding that the woman had been released and a criminal case launched.
Police raided a second apartment in southeast Moscow and arrested a second-year female student from the Russian State Social University. Three women - from Ukraine, central Russia and Moscow - suspected of being prostitutes were also found in the flat.
