What Future Brings for Books?

Of course, those of us who are in their 30’es and older grew up surrounded with paper books. Shelves loaded with books, bookcases and even suitcases underneath the furniture – we all know these very well, and some of us still have this scenery in our flats. But with the development of electronic devices and their availability, people started turning to electronic books more and more.

So, is the e-book likely to replace a paper one? Is it some sort of a fight or a competition between the two, or even between the conservative people and the proponents of progress and development? What is more important – some kind of an aesthetic pleasure of holding a book, smelling it, looking through the pictures and photographs, or it is just the content that matters? These are the questions that we tried to answer in this program.
