Ebola is a word that is not new to Africa, but was unknown to many in the Western world until this summer. It started as a small outbreak, but then quickly spread and engulfed several countries, threatening to extend worldwide.
The US took the lead in responding against Ebola, which would seem natural, considering a pandemic is possible, and the US’s habit to have a finger in every pie. But some would say there is something more hidden behind it.
