WASHINGTON, October 10 (RIA Novosti) - The G20 finance ministers and central bank governors are not going to delve into the Ukraine crisis issue during the ongoing IMF fall session this week, Russia's Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told journalists.

"The topic is an urgent one. Of course, we are concerned about the state of our neighbor's economy, which is Ukraine, as well as about Ukraine's [ability] to pay on its debts. And we are monitoring this situation. But neither of these issues is on the current agenda," Siluanov explained.

Ukraine's gas debt to Russia started snowballing in 2013, when the country found itself amid a deep political crisis. Kiev currently owes Moscow $5.3 billion in unpaid bills.

The Russian finance minister said that the issue of Ukraine and its debts to Russia would not be raised at his upcoming meeting with US business representatives on Friday.

G20 ministers of finance and central bank governors have gathered in Washington, US, for the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the Group of 20, scheduled for October 8-11.
