First Voting Returns Bring Victory to No Voters in Scottish Referendum

MOSCOW, September 19 (RIA Novosti) - Scots in the historic council area of Clackmannanshire have said “no” in the Thursday independence referendum, according to the local elections commission.

According to the report, 53.8 percent of voters said "no," while 46.2 percent said "yes." The turnout in the country was reported at 88.5%.
