WASHINGTON, October 24 (RIA Novosti)
Voters participating in early voting in one United States town say when they cast ballots for Republican Presidential contender Mitt Romney, the votes instead defaulted to President Barack Obama, according to a report by local media.
At least two complaints were filed, both from voters who cast ballots at the same Guilford County polling location in the state of North Carolina, according to a report from local television station WGHP.
“It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just a machine that needs to be corrected,” said George Gilbert, Director of the Guilford County Board of Elections. Gilbert says the problem arises every election, and can be resolved after the machine is re-calibrated by poll workers.
Elections officials say the machine has now been fixed and no problems have been reported since then.

The British experience can be instructive for Russia. London retains its British Commonwealth if it wants to use this as a foundation for integration in the future. That’s a valuable lesson for Russian experts who are calling for an end to “ineffective” associations like the CIS, the Russian World and others.
