On October 25, Russia celebrates Primorsky Territory Day, an area known as the “Pearl of the Far East”. The territory is famous for its amazingly diverse ecology and breathtaking scenery – white sands along its sea coast, the glory of centuries-old taiga, and powerful rapids that flow down from magnificent mountain ranges.

During the summer and fall months, thousands of salmon spawn their eggs throughout the river Zerkalnaya. A number of tourist resorts are built along the shores of the river.
