A large air defense exercise has come to an end at the Ashuluk range in the Astrakhan Region of southern Russia. For three days, crews of S-300 and Pantsyr-S1 surface-to-air and anti-aircraft missile systems practiced down targets.

In attendance were top commanders of the Russian Air Force, missile and flight crews, as well as delegates from Kazakhstan and Belarus, the Russia 24 news channel reported.
