MOSCOW (Sputnik) — At least 14 people were killed and 30 wounded by a suicide car bomb attack in a town of Khalis, eastern Iraq Monday, local media reported.
Suicide bomber targeted a checkpoint in the town located some 37 miles north of Baghdad, NRT news outlet reported.
No group took responsibility for the attack yet.
The explosion came next day after a suicide car bomb went off near the Iraqi capital killing 21 and wounding 30 others.
