MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier reports had the death toll standing at 10 with 20 more wounded. The tragedy occurred in a mostly Shiite Muslim area during the morning rush hour.
The attack was carried out using an explosive belt, a law enforcement source told Kuwait news agency. No terrorist group has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
Earlier in July, Daesh attacked the central district of Baghdad leaving 290 people dead and 180 injured.
