In the home – as pets – they prove just as loyal. But some dogs never find a home. Abandoned, abused, and on the streets – the lucky ones find a temporary home at a shelter. International Homeless Animals’ Day is Aug. 17-18 – so, if you’d like a pet dog – why not think about adopting from a shelter?
