MOSCOW, August 27 (RIA Novosti) – A man detained by police after a gun was found in a bag in a Moscow fitness club was planning a robbery and a kidnapping, a spokesperson for city police said Tuesday.
The police received an anonymous tipoff on August 23, saying that a man had left a bag containing a gun and two magazines in a Moscow branch of the fitness chain Zebra, the spokesperson said.
A man police identified as the bag’s owner was detained the next day.
