A policeman in Chechnya was killed and three others were injured on Monday when their patrol car was blown up by an explosive device, the Interior Ministry said.
"Today, around 8:00 a.m. [04:00 GMT], a bomb blew up a UAZ vehicle with four policemen near the village of Bamut in the Achkhoi-Martanovsky region of the Chechen Republic," the Ministry said.
Investigators are working at the scene of the incident.
