Eight bodies discovered in garage in south Russia

Police in the southern Russian city of Stavropol on Friday found the bodies of five men and three women in a garage, a law enforcement source said.

Spokesman for the Russian Investigative Committee Vladimir Markin said that preliminary data indicated that all the victims had been shot dead earlier in the day.

There is speculation that the dead are a local crime boss known as “Khan” and members of his family. Investigators have confirmed that the victims are all from the same family.

Investigators from Moscow are on their way to the city to assist in the case.
