Russian investigators confirmed on Thursday that two militants linked to July's attack on a hydroelectric power station in the North Caucasus had been killed.
Ruslan Orshokdugov and Rustam Seyunov were killed in a police operation on July 25, Investigation Committee spokesman Alexander Markin said.
Markin said the two men were members of the Baksan Dzhamaat terrorist group.
A group of four gunmen burst into the Baksan Hydropower Plant in the republic of Kabardino-Balkaria early on July 21 and shoot dead two security guards. They then detonated four explosive devices. The resulting blaze covered an area of 250 sq meters.
