MOSCOW, September 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Ministry of Finance has reviewed the main characteristics of the federal budget for the 2015-2017, increasing the budget deficit level from 0.4 to 0.5 percent of the GDP.

"According to the budget rule, the budget deficit for the next year will reach 0.5 percent of the GDP, because the base price for oil amounted to $95 per barrel. It [the price] has been defined more precisely and because of that the deficit has increased – it was [estimated at] 0.4% and now is 0.5% of the GDP," Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told journalists on Sunday.
