MOSCOW, July 18 (RIA Novosti) - Malaysia Airline’s share price dropped 13 percent first thing on Friday morning after its second plane met a tragic fate this year.

The dramatic 13-percent fall was registered in the first few moments after the stock market opened in Malaysia following the deadly crash of Flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine.

Malaysia Airlines’ share price tumbled down to roughly $0.06. A day before, its market capitalization totalled some $117 billion.

This is the second time the company’s stock fell sharply this year. It has been sliding since the disappearance of Flight MH370 en route to Beijing.

The second jet, an airliner going from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed Thursday in Ukraine’s Donetsk region in the east of the country. It was carrying a total of 298 people, including 15 crew.
