MOSCOW, September 17 (RIA Novosti) - A new model of the Russian bulldozer Chetra, Chetra T 40, has been presented at the four-day international construction exposition Conexpo Russia, which began in Moscow on September 15.
The giant bulldozer, outstripping its world analogues in the 40-ton class, has a 434 kW power engine, and its serial production was launched after a decision from the Tractor Plants company, said Viktor Novikov, chief designer of the specialized design bureau for tracked and wheeled vehicles at the Promtractor company.
Dennis J. Slater, the president of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, said he is ready to contribute to promoting the Chetra brand on world markets.
