The Sochi Media Center will allow all guests of the RIA Novosti International Multimedia Press Center in Moscow to watch public events and news conferences on the Olympics and take part in Sochi-Moscow video conferences.

Several exhibitions will take place in the Sochi Media Center, such as the Russian Grand Prix Formula-1 exhibition and the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library multimedia display. The Joint Information Center and RIA Novosti will hold a joint photo exhibition Best in Sports. The core display will feature 30 photos by RIA Novosti photographers, including such well-known names as Vladimir Pesnya, Grigory Sysoyev, Alexander Vilf and Vladimir Astapkovich. New photos from the Sochi Olympics will be regularly added to the display.

The accreditation period for the media center started on June 1, 2013 and will last until the end of the Paralympics. Hundreds of journalists from 25 countries and dozens of foreign and local bloggers have already submitted applications.
